Muhammad Qasim Nanautavi

Muhammad Qasim Nanautavi (1832–1890) was an influential Indian Islamic scholar and educator. He co-founded Darul Uloom Deoband, a prominent Islamic seminary that became a leading center for traditional Islamic studies in South Asia. Nanautavi was known for his deep knowledge of religious texts, his emphasis on orthodox Sunni teachings, and his efforts to preserve Islamic traditions during British colonial rule. His work focused on promoting Islamic education, ethical conduct, and religious reform.
