Muftis
A Mufti is a knowledgeable Islamic scholar who specializes in interpreting religious law, known as Sharia. They provide legal opinions called fatwas, which guide Muslims on how to adhere to religious principles in everyday life. Muftis study Islamic texts extensively and are trusted resources for issues such as worship, ethics, and personal conduct. Their role is similar to that of a legal advisor, but within the context of religious law. While they do not make laws, their rulings help individuals and communities make informed decisions consistent with Islamic teachings.
