MRI scanner
An MRI scanner is a medical imaging device that uses powerful magnets and radio waves to create detailed pictures of the inside of the body. It works by aligning hydrogen atoms in your body, then sending radio signals to them. When these signals are released, the scanner detects them and constructs images of organs, tissues, and structures. Unlike X-rays, MRI doesn’t use ionizing radiation, making it safer for detailed soft tissue imaging. It’s commonly used to diagnose conditions in the brain, spine, joints, and other areas, providing doctors with clear, accurate views to guide treatment plans.
