MRI safety zones

MRI safety zones are designated areas around an MRI machine to ensure safety. Zone 1 is the general public area, outside the MRI suite. Zone 2 is the reception area, where patients are prepared. Zone 3 is restricted, containing the MRI scanner room, with access limited to trained personnel and screened patients. Zone 4 is the immediate MRI environment, where strong magnetic fields and radio waves are active, requiring strict safety protocols. These zones help prevent accidents from magnetic hazards and ensure only qualified individuals enter sensitive areas.
