MRAP
MRAP, or Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle, is a type of military truck designed to withstand explosions from landmines and IEDs (improvised explosive devices). Its distinctive shape features a heavily armored, V-shaped hull that deflects blasts away from the vehicle and its occupants. MRAPs are used to safely transport soldiers in dangerous areas, reducing casualties from roadside bombs and ambush attacks. They are larger and more robust than standard vehicles, prioritizing crew protection while maintaining mobility in conflict zones.
