Mount Yōtei
Mount Yōtei, also known as Ezo Fuji, is a prominent stratovolcano located on Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido. Resembling Mount Fuji in appearance, it stands about 1,898 meters (6,227 feet) tall and has a symmetrical, conical shape. Formed through volcanic activity over thousands of years, Yōtei is part of the Daisetsuzan volcanic group. It is popular for hiking and outdoor activities, offering stunning views and natural beauty. Although it is a dormant volcano, occasional minor eruptions have been recorded in history, making it an impressive natural landmark with cultural and geological significance.
