Mount Similaun

Mount Similaun is a mountain in the Ötztal Alps on the border between Austria and Italy, standing at 3,599 meters (11,789 feet) tall. It is known for its stunning, rugged landscape and snowy summit. The mountain is popular among climbers and hikers, offering challenging routes and beautiful views. It gained fame from the discovery of Ötzi the Iceman, a well-preserved mummy found in a glacier nearby in 1991, which provided valuable insights into prehistoric life.
