Motor Score
Motor score is a clinical assessment used to evaluate muscle strength and nerve function, often after a neurological injury like a stroke or spinal cord injury. It involves testing different muscle groups nerves control and rating their strength on a scale from 0 to 5, where 0 means no movement and 5 indicates normal strength. The scores across various muscles are combined to give a total motor score, helping healthcare providers determine recovery progress, severity of injury, and plan appropriate treatment strategies.
