Mosquito control
Mosquito control involves managing and reducing mosquito populations to prevent bites and disease transmission. Methods include eliminating standing water where mosquitoes breed, applying larvicides to kill larvae, and using adulticides or insecticides to target adult mosquitoes. Additionally, habitat modification, such as drainage or removal of debris, and personal protection like screens and repellents help reduce exposure. Integrated mosquito management combines these strategies, along with community education, to effectively decrease mosquito numbers and minimize health risks. The goal is to create an environment less conducive to mosquito breeding while protecting human health.
