Moshav

A moshav is a type of cooperative agricultural community in Israel where farmers own their individual farms but share certain resources and responsibilities, such as marketing or purchasing supplies. Unlike a kibbutz, where properties and income are communal, members of a moshav retain private ownership of their land and profits. This system fosters a sense of community and mutual support while allowing members to maintain economic independence. Moshavim are designed to promote productive farming and social cooperation, blending private enterprise with collective effort to sustain rural development.
