Mortgage Lender
A mortgage lender is a financial institution or lender that provides loans to individuals or businesses to buy real estate. When you want to purchase a home or property and don't have the full amount upfront, the lender offers a mortgage—essentially a loan secured by the property itself. You agree to repay the loan over time, usually with interest. The lender's role is to evaluate your financial situation, approve the loan, and then hold the mortgage as a legal claim on the property until the debt is fully repaid.
