Moro

Moro, also known as the Moro reflex, is a natural infant response to sudden loss of support or loud stimuli. When a baby feels like they're falling, they react by stretching out their arms, spreading their fingers, and then rapidly pulling their arms back in while crying. This reflex helps protect the baby and is part of normal neurological development. Typically, it appears at birth and diminishes by around 4 to 6 months of age. Persistent Moro reflex beyond this age may indicate neurological concerns and warrants medical evaluation.
