Morgon

Morgon is a wine region in eastern France, part of Burgundy, known for producing red wines primarily from Pinot Noir grapes. The area’s unique climate and limestone-rich soil contribute to the wines' distinctive character—usually elegant, with flavors of red berries and subtle earthiness. Morgon is also one of the ten Crus of Beaujolais, a sub-region celebrated for its flavorful, vibrant wines. The wines tend to be more structured and complex compared to lighter Beaujolais, making them appealing to both wine enthusiasts and those new to French wines.
