Moral Theories

Moral theories are frameworks that help us decide what is right or wrong. Deontological theories focus on duties and rules, suggesting that some actions are inherently right or wrong regardless of outcomes. Utilitarian theories emphasize the greatest happiness for the greatest number, prioritizing overall well-being. Virtue ethics concentrate on developing good character traits, like honesty and courage, to guide behavior. Ethical egoism centers on acting in one's own best interest. These theories provide different perspectives to analyze moral dilemmas and guide ethical decision-making in various situations.
