Moral Arguments
Moral arguments are reasoning processes that use our sense of right and wrong to support the existence of something beyond the physical world—often, a moral lawgiver or God. They suggest that objective moral values (like justice and goodness) imply the existence of a higher moral source, because such consistent standards can't be fully explained by natural factors alone. Essentially, they argue that our shared moral intuitions point to a necessary foundation for morality that transcends human invention, providing logical support for the idea of a moral foundation in a divine or ultimate reality.
