Moon Nodes
Moon Nodes are the two points where the Moon’s orbit crosses the Earth’s orbital plane, called the ecliptic. The ascending node is where the Moon moves northward across the ecliptic, and the descending node is where it moves southward. These nodes are significant in astrology and astronomy because they relate to eclipses and the Moon’s cycle. They gradually shift over time due to gravitational forces, completing a full cycle approximately every 18.6 years. Essentially, Moon Nodes mark the intersection points that define the Moon’s apparent path relative to Earth and the Sun.
