Montessori Model United Nations

Montessori Model United Nations (MMUN) is an educational program that combines the Montessori philosophy with the activities of the United Nations. It encourages students to learn about global issues, diplomacy, and international cooperation through research, debate, and role-playing as UN delegates. MMUN fosters critical thinking, communication, and a sense of global citizenship, all within a supportive, student-centered environment. It aims to develop young people's understanding of world affairs while emphasizing respect, collaboration, and peaceful problem-solving—core values of both the Montessori approach and the United Nations.
