Montanide

Montanide is an adjuvant used in vaccines to enhance the body's immune response. It is a water-in-oil emulsion—tiny droplets of water containing the vaccine's active ingredients are suspended in oil—making the immune system recognize and respond more effectively. By prolonging the presence of the vaccine antigens in the body, Montanide helps improve vaccine efficacy, especially in cases where stronger or longer-lasting immunity is needed. It is utilized in research and sometimes in clinical vaccines to boost immune responses, particularly for diseases requiring robust protection.
