Monsoon Asia
Monsoon Asia refers to the large region in Asia affected by seasonal winds called monsoons, which bring heavy rains and influence climate and agriculture. This area includes countries like India, China, Southeast Asia, and parts of Central Asia. During summer, warm air from the ocean causes moist winds that bring rain, supporting farming and water supplies. In winter, the winds reverse, often leading to dry conditions. The monsoon season is vital for the region’s ecosystems and economies but can also cause floods and other natural disasters when rainfall is extreme.
