Moncef Marzouki is a Tunisian politician and human rights activist who served as the interim President of Tunisia from 2011 to 2014, following the Tunisian Revolution that ended President Ben Ali's rule. He co-founded the Congress for the Republic party and has been a prominent advocate for democracy, social justice, and civil rights in Tunisia. Marzouki’s leadership helped guide Tunisia's transition to a democratic government, and he is recognized for his efforts to promote political stability and human rights in post-revolution Tunisia.
