Helmuth von Moltke the Elder was a Prussian military leader and strategic genius in the 19th century. Serving as chief of the Prussian general staff, he modernized the army’s organization, logistics, and planning. Moltke was instrumental in unifying Germany and winning key wars, notably against Austria and France.
