Molten Glass
Molten glass is glass that has been heated to a very high temperature, causing it to become fluid and malleable. At these temperatures, usually around 2,000°F (1,093°C), glass transitions from a rigid solid into a liquid that can be shaped and molded. This state allows artisans and manufacturers to craft various objects like bottles, windows, and art pieces by blowing, casting, or manipulating the molten material before it cools and solidifies into its final form. The process requires precise temperature control to ensure proper flow and quality in the finished product.
