Molarity

Molarity is a way to measure the concentration of a solution, indicating how many moles of a substance are dissolved in a specific volume of liquid. A mole is a standard scientific unit that quantifies the number of particles, like molecules or atoms. For example, a 1 molar (1 M) solution contains one mole of a substance dissolved in one liter of liquid. This measurement helps scientists understand how strong or dilute a solution is, which is important in chemical reactions and processes. In essence, molarity describes the "density" of a specific chemical in a liquid.
