molality

Molality is a way to measure the concentration of a solution, specifically how much of a substance (solute) is dissolved in a certain amount of solvent. It is defined as the number of moles of solute per kilogram of solvent. Unlike other concentration measures, molality doesn’t change if the temperature changes, making it useful for certain scientific calculations. Essentially, it tells you how many units of the dissolved substance are present relative to the weight of the liquid in which it's dissolved.
