Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto (politician)
Benazir Bhutto was a prominent Pakistani politician and the first woman to head a democratic government in a Muslim-majority country. Born in 1953, she was the daughter of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. She served as Prime Minister twice (1988–1990 and 1993–1996), advocating for democracy, education, and economic development. Bhutto faced political challenges, corruption allegations, and periods of exile. She was known for her leadership, resilience, and dedication to her country. Tragically, she was assassinated in 2007. Her legacy continues as a symbol of female political empowerment in Pakistan.
