Mohs technique

Mohs technique is a precise surgical method used to remove skin cancer. The surgeon removes thin layers of cancerous tissue and examines them under a microscope immediately. If cancer cells remain, additional layers are taken from the exact same spot. This process continues until no cancer remains. This approach ensures all of the cancer is removed while preserving as much healthy skin as possible, resulting in a high cure rate and better cosmetic outcome. It’s especially useful for cancers in sensitive or difficult areas, like the face.
