Modus Tollens

Modus Tollens is a logical reasoning method that helps us conclude that something is false based on what we know about its consequences. It follows the structure: if a statement "If P, then Q" is true, and we observe that Q is false, then we can conclude that P must also be false. For example, if "If it is raining, then the ground is wet," and we see that the ground is not wet, then we can conclude it is not raining. It’s a way to logically eliminate possibilities by using the absence of expected outcomes.
