Modulators
In communications, a modulator is a device or process that modifies a carrier signal—such as a radio wave—to carry information like voice, data, or video. It does this by changing certain properties of the carrier, such as its amplitude, frequency, or phase, to encode the information. This allows the message to be transmitted efficiently over distances. When the signal reaches its destination, a demodulator extracts the original information from the modified carrier. Modulation is essential for enabling various forms of wireless communication, including radio, television, and mobile networks.
