Models

In a general sense, a model is a simplified representation of something complex. It helps us understand, predict, or analyze real-world systems or phenomena by focusing on key features and relationships. For example, a weather model simulates atmospheric conditions to forecast the weather, while a business model outlines how a company creates and delivers value. Models can be physical, like a scale model of a building, or abstract, like mathematical equations. They are essential tools across various fields, allowing us to test ideas, make decisions, and gain insights without needing to directly engage with the full complexity of the real thing.
