MoCap Technology
Motion Capture (MoCap) technology records movements of objects or people using cameras and sensors. Actors typically wear suits with markers or sensors that track their motions in 3D space. The data collected maps their movements onto digital models, creating realistic animations for films, video games, or virtual reality. MoCap allows for natural, precise motion capture that would be difficult to animate manually, enabling lifelike character performances and complex movement analysis. It combines hardware (cameras, sensors) and software to translate real-world motion into digital form seamlessly and efficiently.
