Mobile network operator (MNO)

A Mobile Network Operator (MNO) is a company that provides wireless communication services to customers. They own and manage the infrastructure, like cell towers and network equipment, necessary for mobile phone services, including calls, texts, and internet access. MNOs offer plans and services to consumers and businesses, allowing them to connect and communicate on the go. Examples of MNOs include Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. Unlike Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs), which lease network space from MNOs, MNOs operate their own networks and have control over their technology and pricing.
