MMIWG

MMIWG stands for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. It refers to the ongoing issue where Indigenous women and girls across North America are disproportionately targeted for violence, disappearances, and homicides. Despite their vulnerability, many cases remain unresolved or overlooked.
