MLK

Martin Luther King Jr. was a prominent leader in the American civil rights movement, dedicated to ending racial segregation and discrimination against Black Americans. Through powerful speeches, nonviolent protests, and marches—most famously the 1963 March on Washington—he advocated for equality, justice, and civil rights. His insistence on peaceful resistance helped bring national attention to racial injustices and led to significant legal changes, including the Civil Rights Act of 1964. King’s leadership and vision continue to inspire efforts toward racial equity and social justice worldwide.
