Missionary Catechists
Missionary Catechists are dedicated laypeople who serve as religious educators and evangelizers, primarily in areas where clergy resources are limited. They are trained to teach the Catholic faith, support community spiritual growth, and foster faith formation among children and adults. Often working in mission territories or underserved communities, they act as bridges between the Church and local populations, helping to promote religious understanding, participation, and cultural relevance. Their work enhances the Church’s outreach and ensures that Gospel teachings reach those who might not otherwise have access to formal religious instruction.
