Misogyny
Misogyny is the dislike, prejudice, or discrimination against women simply because they are women. It can manifest in negative attitudes, beliefs, or behaviors that diminish, belittle, or control women. This attitude often stems from societal stereotypes or cultural norms that unfairly assign roles and value based on gender. Misogyny can be expressed subtly, like stereotyping, or overtly, such as harassment or violence. Addressing misogyny involves challenging these biases and promoting respect, equality, and fair treatment for women in all aspects of life.
