Mirror Mechanism

The Mirror Mechanism is a process in the brain where certain neurons, called mirror neurons, activate both when you perform an action and when you observe someone else doing the same action. It helps us understand and empathize with others by internally simulating their experiences. For example, watching someone smile can activate your mirror neurons linked to smiling, creating a sense of shared experience. This mechanism is fundamental in social cognition, empathy, and learning through imitation, allowing us to connect with others and understand their intentions and feelings without overt communication.
