MINUSMA (Mali)

MINUSMA (United Nations Multidimensional Stabilization Mission in Mali) is a UN peacekeeping operation launched in 2013 to help stabilize Mali, a country facing violence, insurgency, and political instability. Its mission includes supporting the peace process, protecting civilians, assisting in humanitarian efforts, and helping rebuild Mali’s security and governance institutions. The UN deploys military personnel, police, and civilian staff to work alongside Malian authorities and international partners, aiming to create a safer environment and promote sustainable peace and development across the country.
