Ministry of Defence of Spain

The Ministry of Defence of Spain is responsible for managing the country's national defense and military forces. It oversees the Spanish Army, Navy, and Air Force, developing defense policies, ensuring military readiness, and coordinating, supporting, and equipping these branches. The ministry also handles international defense cooperation and maintains strategic security. Its goal is to protect Spain’s sovereignty, promote national security, and contribute to international peacekeeping efforts, working under the government and in consultation with the King, who is the constitutional head of state.
