Mindfulness and Hypnosis

Mindfulness is a mental practice that involves paying focused, non-judgmental attention to the present moment—thoughts, feelings, and sensations—helping increase awareness and reduce stress. Hypnosis is a guided state of focused attention and heightened suggestibility, often used to modify behaviors or perceptions. While mindfulness cultivates acceptance of current experiences, hypnosis leverages concentrated awareness to influence thoughts and actions. Both techniques can promote relaxation and self-awareness, but they differ in approach: mindfulness emphasizes observation without judgment, whereas hypnosis involves guided focus to achieve specific mental or behavioral goals.
