Minarchism
Minarchism is a political philosophy within libertarianism advocating for a minimal state. Minarchists believe the government's only legitimate roles are to protect individual rights, maintain law and order, and ensure national defense. They argue that all other functions, such as education and healthcare, should be handled by private individuals and organizations. This approach emphasizes personal freedom and limited government intervention, promoting the idea that the less the government interferes in people's lives, the more liberty and prosperity individuals can achieve. Essentially, it's about having just enough government to protect people from harm while maximizing personal autonomy.
