Millimeter Waves
Millimeter waves are a type of electromagnetic radiation with very high frequency and short wavelength, typically between 30 and 300 gigahertz. They are used in advanced wireless communications, like 5G networks, to transmit large amounts of data quickly. Because their waves are short, they can carry more information and have faster speeds but don't travel as far or easily penetrate obstacles like walls. This makes them ideal for high-speed, high-capacity links in dense areas, but they require more infrastructure, such as small cell towers, to work effectively.
