Miller's Pyramid
Miller's Pyramid is a model that describes how healthcare professionals develop their skills and knowledge through different stages. It has four levels: at the base, "knows" — understanding facts; next, "knows how" — applying that knowledge; then, "shows how" — demonstrating skills in controlled settings; and finally, at the top, "does" — performing competently in real clinical practice. This framework helps educators and learners understand progression from learning basics to confidently and effectively managing patient care in real-world situations.
