Millennialism

Millennialism is a belief that, based on certain interpretations of religious or prophetic texts, there will be a future event or period—often called the "Millennium"—when Christ or a divine figure will return to establish a reign of peace and justice on Earth. This belief emphasizes a coming epoch of harmony, where evil is defeated and divine rule is realized, typically occurring after a significant spiritual or apocalyptic upheaval. Different groups interpret these prophecies in various ways, but the core idea centers on an anticipated, transformative future era of divine reign.
