Mild Intermittent Asthma

Mild intermittent asthma is a condition where a person experiences occasional asthma symptoms, such as coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, or chest tightness, that happen less than twice a week and only at night less than twice a month. These symptoms typically don’t interfere much with daily activities and are usually controlled with quick-relief medications when needed. Blood tests and lung function tests are often normal between episodes. While mild intermittent asthma is manageable, it still requires monitoring and prompt treatment to prevent symptoms from worsening.
