Mike Hughes

Mike Hughes was an American daredevil and self-taught rocket engineer known for attempting to prove the earth's curvature wasn't curved. He built and launched homemade rockets from his backyard, often financed through his career as a limousine driver. Hughes believed the earth might be flat and aimed to gather evidence through his rocket flights. Despite repeated efforts, none of his launches provided conclusive proof, and he tragically died in a rocket crash in 2020 while preparing for another launch.
