Middlesex Regiment

The Middlesex Regiment was a British Army infantry unit active from 1881 to 1966. Named after the historic county of Middlesex, it served in numerous conflicts, including the two World Wars, demonstrating resilience and versatility. The regiment played key roles in major battles, contributed to colonial garrison duties, and was known for its strong community ties in London and surrounding areas. In 1966, it was merged into the Royal Anglian Regiment as part of a reorganization, but its legacy remains remembered for its bravery and contributions to British military history.
