Michigan Militia

The Michigan Militia is a loosely organized, civilian movement advocating for what they call personal freedoms, limited government, and constitutional rights. They often emphasize preparedness, self-reliance, and the right to bear arms. While not formally part of the military or law enforcement, some members identify as paramilitary or survivalist. Their activities can include training and community defense initiatives. They emphasize lawful activism but have been associated with controversial views and, at times, anti-government attitudes, which have garnered both support and criticism.
