
Michelle Bachelet (Politician)
Michelle Bachelet is a prominent Chilean politician who served as the President of Chile twice, first from 2006 to 2010 and then from 2014 to 2018. She is a member of the Socialist Party and is known for her progressive policies, including health care reform and education improvement. Bachelet was the first woman to hold the presidency in Chile and has a background in medicine and public health.
