Mexican education system

The Mexican education system is structured into several levels: preschool (ages 3-5), primary school (6-12), secondary education (ages 13-15), and higher education such as universities and technical institutes. Education is compulsory from ages 3 to 14. The system is overseen by the Secretariat of Public Education and includes public and private institutions. After secondary school, students can pursue vocational training or higher education, which includes undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Access and quality can vary, with ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and educational equity across the country.
