Metta meditation, also known as loving-kindness meditation, is a practice focused on cultivating feelings of compassion, kindness, and goodwill toward oneself and others. It typically involves silently repeating phrases or intentions, such as “May I be happy, may I be healthy,” gradually extending these wishes to loved ones, acquaintances, and even those with whom one has difficulties.
